
M13 – Drivers’ Responsibilities, Disability & Equality Awareness
Who Should Attend

Drivers with “acquired rights” (sometimes known as “grandfather rights”) who passed their test before September 2008 (PSV).

Drivers who need to acquire 7 hours towards their 35 hours of periodic training.
Course Aim
To provide candidates with a thorough understanding of the responsibilities of a driver including health issues that are common to the professional driver. Candidates will also gain a knowledge of disability & equality awareness including legislation and how to deal with situations that could arise.
Training Methods
A proportion of hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises, supplemented with classroom based tutorials.

Additional Information
Delegates attending this course must have a valid licence for the categories they drive & must present a driving licence when attending the course.
COTS are fully approved by JAUPT to deliver Driver CPC periodic training.
