Us as a company have been using COTS for a couple of years now. All the staff have been amazing from start to finish for each course. Lee for his expertise with MEWP Boom, Gantry and HAVs training, Andrew for Gantry, James for Combi FLT and Jamie for Counterbalance, all so knowledgeable and the guys who completed the training all said how good the course was and the information provided. The prompt responses from Jason & Joshua when I have contacted, exceed my expectations.

Far exceeded our expectations

Andy delivered the course that far exceeded our expectations.  He was professional and was able to accommodate the differing levels of experience in the room within his stride.
The whole group came away with some great knowledge and a full understanding of what is required to utilise what is a new piece of equipment for the business.  Andy was able to provide some great advice with suitable items of equipment and the training that we would need to be able to complete an upcoming contract we have, after we identified that the current equipment we have would not fit into the spaces that it was intended to be used for.  It was a pleasure to be on the course myself and Andy represented COTS to a very high standard.

Not having been in a classroom environment since 1980 I was very apprehensive, Dave immediately put us all at ease, his method of teaching really works. He was always thorough and ensured everybody understood before moving on, also he adapted the structure of the day to suit to ensure that those who needed extra tuition in certain areas got it. Thank you for the excellent service provided.

A totally professional outfit

Although I knew a lot of it, it was nice to learn something I didn’t know. Especially when I have worked on the trucks for 20 years. We used iPad’s, a totally professional outfit.

They have previously gone above and beyond for us

We have been using COTS for training our workforce for a number of years, and would highly recommend them to other companies who are looking to train, or upskill their workforce. They have an extensive range of courses available, and are always happy to move dates around to suit our needs. They have previously gone above and beyond for us, in tailoring specific training courses that not only meet current legislation, but align to our company policies and procedures. First class company from booking through to delivery.

I found this last one was really interesting, entertaining and most importantly very useful as a driver.

I attended a CPC course on Wednesday 14th July at Pembrokeshire County Council Thornton Depot.

I just wanted to say how excellent your training provider James was. I’ve been on several courses like this in the past (including this particular module a few years ago), but this was the first one that I attended with James. I have to say that these training days, although necessary, can be a bit of a drag (no offence) but I found this last one was really interesting, entertaining and most importantly very useful as a driver.

I’m sure it must be very difficult to reach a balance of providing information while keeping things informal enough not to feel like we’re back at school but James got the balance right. Spot on!

Please pass my comments on to James and his manager(s) and hopefully I might get another opportunity to be another training session sometime in the future.

I was impressed by all aspects of COTS

Just a short note to say a big thanks for the FLT Instructors Re-Registration course. From start to finish I was impressed by all aspects of COTS, the premises, equipment, course literature and information were all of the highest standard, only surpassed by the excellent standard of tuition delivered by Paul, he is a credit to the operation. I won’t hesitate to recommend COTS to anyone that needs training; in fact I’m proud to be able to say that COTS looks after all of Castell Howell’s training needs, and the peace of mind it gives to me that the standard of training delivered is the best in the business. The training exceeded my expectations

I’m sending you this email as I’ve been really impressed with the quality of service provided by your company. Only 2 days after booking, I went on your RTITB Counterbalance FLT refresher course and the training exceeded my expectations.

Commercial Operator Training Solutions delivered a sensibly paced, no nonsense learning programme where Health & Safety legislation and operational use were clearly explained. In addition, useful methods were demonstrated to make forklift operation easier and ways to overcome some workplace specific hazards were suggested and discussed from the instructor’s own work experience.

The instructor James, was friendly and knowledgeable. I was nervous as I’d not driven a lift truck recently but he was able to bring out the best in me through encouragement and precise direction.

If all this wasn’t enough, the COTS dedicated training environment is easily accessible on the outskirts of Swansea, complete with parking spaces and next to a restaurant and a Gregg’s. I mustn’t forget the tea & coffee facilities – a big thanks to James for getting the milk!
