Course Overview

This foundational course is aimed at all employees, particularly new starters, to provide an essential understanding of fire safety. It’s ideal as a stand-alone module or as part of a larger training programme.

• Identifying fire hazards and associated risks
• Techniques for controlling fire risks in the workplace

Assessment Methods

Assessed through a multiple-choice examination.

Additional Information

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, in good physical health, and capable of meeting the demands of practical training. An adequate level of English literacy is also required to fully engage with the course content and assessments. This course can also be offered as an in-house COTS Certification.
