Assessment Methods
To obtain the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), candidates must successfully complete and Pass the following units:
Paper 1: Multi-Format
40 multiple choice questions
Duration: 2 hours
Pass Mark: 70% (28 marks)
Paper 2: Case Study
3 scenario-based case study questions
Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes
Pass Mark: 50% (30 out of 60 marks)
The case study consists of a company scenario and additional sub-scenarios. Questions are structured in parts (e.g., 1a, 1b, 1c), with 20 marks available for each full question.
Additional Information
This is a 10-day intensive course (plus an optional revision day, and an additional day for the exam) supported by comprehensive training materials and professional study notes. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, and an adequate level of English literacy is required to fully engage with the course content and assessments.
