Experience Levels

  • Novice – For individuals with no Slinger Signaller experience. No prior operating skills required—covers everything from scratch.
  • Refresher – For certified operators needing to renew or update their training. Must have completed an Allmi Slinger / Signaller training course previously.
  • Conversion – For operators who already hold a Lorry Loader certification with another accrediting body but wish to add Allmi accreditation.

Assessment Methods

The course includes a written theory test and a practical assessment, where learners must demonstrate their ability to sling and signal loads safely and competently. Both elements must be passed to achieve ALLMI certification.

Additional Information

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, physically capable of performing lifting tasks and signalling duties, and able to demonstrate a responsible attitude towards safety. A suitable level of English literacy is required to understand the course content and successfully complete the assessments. This course can also be offered as an in-house COTS Certification.
