How COTS are Supporting No Falls Week 2026

Falls from height remain the leading cause of workplace fatalities in the UK, making awareness initiatives like No Falls Week more critical than ever. At COTS Training, we are proud to be actively promoting this important campaign by highlighting best practices, sharing safety guidance, and encouraging workers and employers to invest in high-quality work at height training.

Why No Falls Week Matters

According to the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), 35 workers lost their lives due to falls from height in 2024/25, accounting for 28% of all workplace fatalities. These incidents are often preventable with the right planning, equipment, and training.

No Falls Week serves as a reminder to:

  • Review your current safety procedures
  • Ensure workers are properly trained
  • Reinforce safe working practices at height

How COTS Training Is Supporting No Falls Week

Throughout the week, we are:

  • Sharing daily safety insights across our social channels
  • Promoting industry guidance such as the Ladder Association’s LA455
  • Raising awareness of specialist training that helps prevent falls
  • Encouraging businesses to prioritise compliance and competence

Our goal is simple: help reduce the number of falls from height through better training and awareness.
